are instinctual creatures, able to sense the unseen. They are loyal, protective of their packs

and of their pups. They are wild and beautiful. Both have been hunted and captured. Even in

captivity, one can see in the eyes of a Woman, or a Wolf, the longing to run free, and the

determination that should the opportunity arise, Whoosh, they will be gone....)))

Since I was a little girl I was dreaming of Japan and Asia in general.

I had strange, vivid dreams so I was convinced that Ive lived there before.

Somehow I felt connected and respected especially their tradition and behaviour.

Not the modern way of living, more the old, traditional way.

Anyway, Sashi will be my little girl who will help me to find

answers to my questions.

Sashi means Moon in sanskrit.

My brothers used to call me SnezicSun,

so I thought it would be a perfect name for her as well.

She will be my moon...

"Uplasena od svega lezim kraj jezera i mislim na tebe. Bog zna gde me sve ovo vodi... Cini mi se da sam sama - izgubljena nisam - ali ipak mi se cini da nema nikoga na ovom svetu. Haljinu svilenu nosim svaki dan, valjda cekam opet na zvona da zazvone... Ali zasto onda cekam u sumi? Suze vise nemam, voda ih je izbrisala. Niti sam tuzna, mozda ravnodusna?

Cekam nekad na pahulje staklene da mi padnu u krilo, cak i kad je leto. Eto! Tako cekam i vekovima na Tebe. Dani prolaze a meni se ne ustaje. Kamen je hladan, nije mekan! Osecaj mi je glasniji od razuma, znam da nisam jedina. Osecam bol iz prethodnog zivota, umesto da stavim crtu, ja uporno slikam istu sliku... Umesto da volim, ja se plasim od svega... Kao srna stojim sa otvorenim ocima i posmatram svaki pokret sume.

Suma je nekad tako hladna i mracna, a pogotovu bez tebe. Znam da me lovci posmatraju, jedva cekaju da me vide mrtvu, jer vide u meni savrsenu zrtvu.

Pitam Te da me odvedes na lepse mesto, skriveno u snu, ali shvatim da ni ti nisi tu... Sisarke samnom kraj jezera spavaju. Cuva ih moja leva ruka od okrutnog sveta i od kojekakvih muka... Hello my dear friends,

Ive worked with some of my amazing friends, a lot on our project "strahinich ban". Maybe U have seen already the teaser for the book and some have seen already a sneak peak of the illustrations Ive done, but let me show U the book...

The size of the book is A4 - with 9 illustrations in colour - 64 pages

We have done the English translation of the epic poem "Strahinich Ban". The book has two parts. First part -the english translation and the other part is in Serbian.

300 copies of the book have been printed. Its our first edition. We have sold already several books, so if U want to get a copy let me know, or U can check out our website http://epicserbia.com/

pregriscu jezik, zavezati ruke,

The deed is for the serbian writer and artist Momcilo Momo Kapor.

He is getting the deed for the prince of words.

Bis dahin verschließe ich mein Herz, mein Gut,

meine Erinnerungen, meine Hoffnung

und meinen roten Ballon.

Die Liebe pack ich ein, in eine Truhe

finde bis dahin meinen Weg

auch meine Ruhe.

Auch die Hoffnung ist mein Schatz.

mein Paradiesvogel fliegt in diesem Satz.

Irgendwann fliegen alle Träume,

in einem roten Ballon davon.

maybe my vocabulary has a limit in this case.

Its just like when u r in love...

The first thing is:

I like to observe things, in every little detail, to analyze... and to describe the things I see.

I love Art, that means I respect it.

The word respect comes from the Latin, respicere - to look at.

So when U love something Ur interested in it... It makes me happy, but as well I want to share this happiness and those little things which r around me.

So my Art became to a kind of art equation, it reminds me how everything can be described with a formula...

Im not much into mathematics, but I was always interested in it ;)

Art= (Communication + Constant work + Creativity) x (Passion) = Love

This is I guess the most fitting equation for my art...oh if there r some mathematics geniuses around, and they think its not a real equation, please let me know, want to hear ur opinions!

New inspiration from children and folk tales. 1001 nights...

Genie:

A genie also jinn, djinn is a supernatural creature which possesses free will. The word genie comes from Latin genius, which meant a sort of tutelary or guardian spirit thought to be assigned to each person at their birth. From here the word developed to "spirit, incarnation, wit, talent" and much later came to mean "person of natural intelligence or talent".

1001 Nights have always been some of my favorite tales when I was a child. So Im inspired these days of some.... sitting on my bed, reading the stories of Scheherazade...the legendary persian queen..

This is a part of a serbian folk story - the golden apple and the nine peahens (peacocks).

I thought this could be interesting to show U one of my first Illustrations I have done, almost 10 years ago, about a poem from W.B. Yeats :)

I have always loved to make illustrations of poems or stories.

Here is the poem of it:

A butterfly day - nature is always an inspiration!

Yesterday a butterfly was sitting on my hand. As I love butterflies, it was a great feeling for me... like always, but this time I had my cam with me :) Some old people were telling me, if a butterfly is touching U, then God is touching U. This butterfly was so fluffy! Btw the butterfly was sitting a few minutes on my hand, after that he was flying away :) Take a look at those beautiful colours!

Nature and her creatures r the most beautiful inspiration for me. Im enjoying it every day I can, and Im trying to learn from it. Just to mention, those pictures r real, and the butterfly was doing it by his own will ;) I think I have a magnet for butterflies :) they r always around me...

Im thinking of making some paintings on this issue from Galileo Galilei.

Ich werde nur an bestimmten Tagen weinen...

Wische die Farben im Spiegel,

Ich wische und werde den Schatten versiegeln.

Ich wische den Spiegel, doch die Hitze trübt die Sicht.

Der Dampf steigt auf

und im Spiegel ein Gesicht.

Ich werde nur an bestimmten Tagen weinen.

Mein Herz den Flammen reichen und einzelne, blau schwarze Strähnen meiner Haare

weiß bleichen.

Ich wische, doch der Dampf wird zur Last.

Er erdrückt mein Spiegelbild,

raubt mir alle Kraft.

Ich wische, doch nichts ist mehr zum Wischen da...

Dieses Schattengesicht ist meinem Herzen und auch dem Spiegel

nicht klar.

Ich werde nur an bestimmten Tagen weinen...

An den anderen, werde ich Schattenbilder begegnen

und sie verkleinern.

Heute ist kein bestimmter Tag.

Heute wird wieder geklagt!

"Es war wieder einer dieser Abende, wo Alleine sein keine Rolle spielt....ich habe jeden Abend zu einem Besonderen gemacht...mein allerschönstes Kleid zog ich an, um an mir selber Gefallen zu finden.."Wie Gott mich schuf"...
Er war nicht da...Seit langem verbrachte ich diese Nächte mit voller Sehnsucht nach ihm und hielt Ausschau...ich schenkte mir den teuersten Wein ein...
und es tat mir nicht leid.

Der Wein war zauberhaft...und die Kombination mit den Trauben, die auf dem Tisch als Dekoration sorgten, hatten einen süsslichen Geschmack...sie zergingen auf meinen Mund
Die Kerzen im Hintergrund bereiteten im Zimmer eine warme winterliche Atmosphäre

Ich spürte die Kälte draussen nicht...der Wind huschte an meinem Haus vorbei...
In meinem Herzen war es warm genug...es war wie Feuer...
Nachdenklich sass ich an meinem festlich gedeckten Tisch..aß, trank vom genüsslichem Wein und wartete...
Nein, ich hatte keine Tränen...
Ich weiß, ich werde nicht mehr lange die Abendstunden im Alleinesein verbringen..er wird kommen..ich spüre es...
und genau das macht es zu den besonderen Abenden...tagein tagaus"

Because of certain circumstances I had to delete http://www.snezic.com/ but of course I will have soon again a fresh look. New life, new look, new style... I hope ur all enjoyin ur free time, Im still working night and day, with my eyes full with tears... everybody knows love hurts :)

Anyway I will inform u about all my new paintings and works.

For now, Im painting on walls... so I will be pretty much busy by that.
